I had a couple of graveyard AL21s and put this together, not a 100% but has an interesting glass lens

Thanks Tony, it’s got a weird glass front that is magnified, I don’t know what’s it off but I have the 4 types, I was just tarting this one up for display in my workshop area, this is where i offer people to come in and service there own lamps while I give a general talk about the history and usages

Odd glass on this one terry wonder if it will boost light output? I have tried various fresnel lenses on lamps over the years and the glass has to be a certain distance from the mantle to get best results. Is it off to newark?
    Cheers pete

Hi Pete, yes mate I’ll be there for sure, the glass can’t be Tilley! It would of been far to expensive to fit a glass like this, even though it fits like a glove, I am hoping that my SL1 is finished in time for it

Yeh mate, the paint will be finished and everything else is ready, just waiting for the glass parabolic reflector , I didn’t know that the slumping process took so long! But hey! I haven’t found anyone else on the planet that could do it old school, so I am hoping ,

Fortunately I'm in Surrey for the week, but can only come to Newark for a day trip on the Friday as returning to Cornwall the following day.
