    Hi fellas.
I’ve been working on the hollow wire Wizard for a fair while now and I am done.
I found the lamp, lines and globe as original condition.

I set about cleaning up the lamp. The globe is in excellent condition, the lamp look complete. Once I had dismantled the lamp I could see generator tube and the pricker needed some attention. Whic some helpful advice @Anthony @Tony Press
The generator tube had corrosion repair. Testing my fettle skills I set about repair.
I cut and sized up a brass patch that I silver soldered in place, filed and shaped the repair to best fit the generator holder.

next I had to remake the pricker.
I copied what I had, made the brass needle seat, re seated the pricker needle and fine tuning to suit.

I have an original globe but decided to make a mica globe for it.

I converted a Coleman fount to be my fuel pressure vessel, I bought a filler cap with the built in pressure gauge , modified the generator and removed the pricker rod assembly so as to have clear pass for the fuel.

I assembled everything and set about getting the lamp to life.
It all went to plan. A bit of flare up but settled I adjusted the pricker and away it went

im very pleased with my first hollow wire restoration. I have a couple of other lanterns to add to the line but that’s for another day.

Love it - nice to see it working. Will you be expanding tubing round the house ?
