Dear Colleagues, Could you please explain me why one Optimus 300 has two handwheels and straight carburettor? The rest seems to be quite typical (except that it was painted so nicely...). Any idea about the manufacturing date? Piotrek
This is Optimus model 300B and is a 300cp gasoline lantern from the 1930s. Not a common one to find. ::Neil::
With the one piece vapouriser and access to the cleaning needle from the bottom, it is early 1930s. Possible 1931 or 1932.
