Does anyone know what the thread size is for the control knob spindle going into the control knob?
I have a broken one, it just came away in my hand so was probably already damaged.
I think i can remove the broken piece in the control knob with an 'easy out'
Just need to cut a new thread on what's left of the spindle.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. T10-Brokenknob.jpg

I'm not at home to check but it might possibly be a 2BA thread. I'll know more next week.

I thought it best to check, as W&B were prone to using odd number BA sizes at times...

I think it was my dear old dad who told me that 2BA was the most used imperial nut and bold in the UK, pre-decimalisation!

The real joke is that BA is actually metric, but respecified in decimal inches, which is why the dimensions come out looking so weird...
Conversely ISO pipe threads are actually BSP respecified in metric...go figure.

Yup, for instance 0BA is actually 6mm dia with a 1mm pitch! I didn't know ISO pipe thread is BSP!
