    Found another 246b in France again. Dated 9/5,September 1945 . Before and after pics included. All original, cleaned and polished it up and boy did it polish up. Original factory generator as well.

    Nice lantern. I think it's a 1939 model . Closed bail tabs on the burner frame and early Coleman stamp on the fount.

    Hi, yes, after a bit of research I do believe it is May 1939. The seafoam vent instead of a green vent puts it as an early one. Didn't think about the closed bail tabs. But thanks, another piece of info to help verify the date always helps.
