This one was a mess when I received it, but it’s burning bright again. Cool old lantern with what seems to be an old globe of Portuguese origin. I reckon circa 1930.

    Nice work, @Ulf.

Can you tell us what the writing on the globe says (in Portuguese)?

And, are you using a Butterfly mantle on the lamp?

    Cheers

Nice to see another one of these. It has the original vapouriser and spirit cup too (mine was changed to 119 parts).

Do you mind if I ask where you found it?

The complete hood and cap seems to be from Hasag. Is that an original on Sunflower-120? BR Joachim

Sorry guys for not responding sooner:

The globe says T. J. Barros Queirós Hros Lda/L. Sao Domingos, 21-Lisboa.
I found this on eBay, still in Lisbon.
    I don't know if that's a HASAG cap.

I had it out today for the first time in a year and was going to post about it, but then saw that I'd beat myself to the punch ;-)

    Ulf.
