Morning, In the process of getting a Prentiss Wabers L13 running. Need a little help. The pump assembly needs to have a small gasket at the end, I saw a video of a gentleman that showed the part, but am unable to find any info on him, or how to obtain the gasket. Also in need of a globe, i believe it should be Mica? What mantles to use? Thanks, John
I have several photos posted here: Prentiss Wabers L13 There is a fella named Rob here in the States reproducing mica chimneys if that interests you. If so I can get you his contact info. Otherwise a Coleman 220 globe will get you working. Coleman 21 mantles or Peerless 2C-HG's for common mantles

PWs are great lanterns, but are a bit different from Colemans in their construction. Their weak spot is the steel valve stem. It serves as the seal for both the main and the instant light circuits. If either of the sealing faces at the end of the valve are rust pitted there will be problems getting the lantern to work properly. A machinist member on Coleman Collectors Forum mad some excellent reproduction valve stems. He posts as deanofid. Once it's lit and running you must open the valve all the way, as that's what shuts off the instant light circuit. Not opening the valve completely results in a lean burn and the need for frequent pumping. Here is a thread I made a few years ago showing the internals of the PW valve. Most of it is brass and some parts, especially the piece indicated by the red arrow in the fourth picture. I suspect the thin stem was subject to torque failure and was replaced by a steel one. Good luck with it.
