Duel to keyhole surgery today, I am going to be laid up for a few days. I can't use the lap top in bed, so I am currently on a Lenovo PDA. I do have access to a wireless printer, so I can print of information. The lighting instructions are on the lantern, not an issue for most peaple. But this is going to be a restoration project for one of the Men In Sheds I help with. Due to our H&S safety rules I need a clear, simple, with pictures(if possible) instructions on how to: Fit Mantles. Pre Checks. Lighting and running instructions. Plus any other related H&S information. If I had the lap top I can read nd see if the stuff on the WWW is suitable, but this small PDA is a pain. if some one can advise I will be grateful. At MIS we have to have rules set down, so the members can follow them and we are safe. It can be a pain for the able body members, but rules are rules. Thanks TYA.
Subscribers can access the manuals on this website. It strikes me that including the manufacturer’s instructions would cover you ?
The instructions on the body can be hard for some members to read. The plan is to have easy to read, with pictures, instructions so by step by step it can be lit by inexperience members. Men In Shed will have people who know, some who want to know and worse, those who think they know. So the MIS have set up the rules to suit that shed. My other shed I help out have different H&s rules.
