I have always been drawn to the 310 and finally managed to pick one up a few weeks ago. Easy clean and service to get it running. I have put a repro hood on as the enamel was going on the original so that will go into storage and the repro will do the work. Clocking took a bit of work as fully nipped it was in completely the wrong place. Made a thicker washer and that was resolved. The 300X is the star of the Bialaddin line up in my opinion, but I do really like these 310!

Yes - I think the 310 is prettiest abut the 315 is the most functional

Only thing I’ve found with these is that it’s not easy getting into the preheat cup. The globe doesn’t lift enough and the gap in the collar is really small. Need to fashion a filler bottle with a finer tube.

Yes "not easy" is an understatement. Squeezy bottle and using the little gap is the best way forward, but still "splashy"

Great job on the lamp Scott, well done. A very handsome lamp, and I don't mind admitting I'm little jealous.

You need to fashion a filler bottle you say..... I would love to see the end product. A filler bottle is an important piece of kit, especially with my M320. Filler bottles dont seem to get much attention. Tilly preheaters work very well but I find the Vapalux very fiddley ( and not in a good way)....

Is there a section on the site for filler bottles.

    I use these a lot:

They get a little tired over time but don't cost much.

These arrived today on a slow boat from China 120ml capacity with screw off end caps on the nozzle

    Well worth a punt O:)

Would imagine the tops will fit larger capacity bottles if required

Only issue I’ve encountered and it’s just a minor one is the screw off cap doesn’t fully seal off the tube fully allowing liquid / meths just to weep through
A small piece of rubber is sealant in the tip of the cap should solve this

Search for sowing machine oil bottle

These worked a treat.....I even sealed the cap with a tiny rubber bung like you said.
    Great bit of kit.
