Nothing special, just another Bialaddin 315 doing it's thing. It came through the post today and having fitted the glass and checked it over, I filled it with some kero, gave it a pre-heat and it burst into life . I'll spruce it up a bit but it really doesn't need much of anything.
Good lanterns - you need that pre-heat torch for it. - You might be able to make something to do the job ?
Nice pair of lamps ...although its very pleasing to see them " Burst into life" it deprives you of the challenge. After sweating, racking the brain, and swearing a lot at a problem lamp, there is nothing quite like that eureka moment when you solve it. With some lamps there are a lot of eureka moments. And of course if it was easy everyone would be doing it. That been said, these are fine lamps.
