Aladdin bowl fire refurbished. After changing all the seals and giving the heater a good test I decided to restore the paint. It was pretty good really, but I replaced the filler cap with a new brass one I had as a spare for other lamps, which fitted. I quite liked the brass but did not want to strip the paint from the pump so I thought I would spray the whole lamp and filler cap to return the lamp to what I think is pretty accurate. I now think the lamp looks original now. I took the lamp to a local automotive paint supplier who has been trading locally from the 1960's. He mixed a spray can as near a match as original. This was not much more expensive than some of the off the shelf similar paints. Hope you like the finished results. 20231004_132809.jpg 20231004_151325.jpg 20231004_132809.jpg 20231004_151325.jpg 20231004_132833.jpg 20231004_180722.jpg 20231004_180728.jpg 20231005_142830.jpg 20231005_144559.jpg 20231006_160516.jpg 20231006_160638.jpg 20231006_160628.jpg 20231006_160655.jpg 20231006_160642.jpg 20231006_160708.jpg 20231006_160702.jpg 20231006_161937.jpg 20231006_162106.jpg 20231004_151325.jpg
