Here is an early 1020, brass finish lantern, 1020 is not an uncommon lantern at all, but it took me awhile to find a brass variant. The lantern was found with a nickel plated filling lid of later manufacture date, so it is not correct for a 1931 lantern.
Nice find Frederik. That looks to be in good condition and working well. Is it just my eyes or is the top cap a different green to the rest of the hood?
Hello Nils ! Yes I would say that that this one is in real good shape, and runs nice too, still has the old style original jet, but a new pricker needle. You are correct, the hood has two different shades, how this is possible i do not know, maybe aged differently due to heat differences. It is most prounonced when lit.
