This was mine for £5. It was heading to be scraped, as the shop could not get it to work. It was caked in some dust, turned out to be plaster dust. The fuel in the tank had a smell of oil and petrol. But it was complete. The pump washer was almost new. But it did love a clean and a dip in warm Veg oil. Even the mantle was good. After a quick pressure test in water to see if there was any leaks in the tank. I turned my attention to the fuel side. Flushed the tank out, fresh fuel and a 40 pumps and we had no fuel leaks. But opening the valve we also had no fuel from the vaporizer. Removing it and cleaning some nasty crud it worked. Even the pressure indicator worked. Pre warming and now we get a leak from the control valve. It nipped up and the leak stopped. Even the glass is original Tilley Pyrex. £5, two cups of TYA coffee, some time, some fun and we have a working Lamp.
