Hi all, A couple of years ago I bought a 1926 Spanish lamp catalogue with mostly French Tito Landi wick incandescent burners and lamps. One page particularly caught my interest ( that's why I bought the catalogue) and that page showed a couple of lamps that I could identify as Lumiere Noël pressure lamps. In the middle of that page I saw a Lumiere Noël pressure table lamp I know was unknown before. This lamp had not been recognised with any collector and the chance, of even seeing or getting hold of one, was very small. Fortunately one showed up late this year, and this is my "cadeau de Noël" for this Christmas. The style of this Lumiere Noël lamp is very unique with that fringed metal shade. Otherwise it has the "Bec Noël" burner head used for many Lumiere Noël lamps during the 1920,s. The origin of that burner goes back to the 1908/1909 original patent by Ernest Noël. Gasoline fuelled and is said to give 250 CP. Probably made mid to late 1920,s. A very odd and unique lamp that will fit well in my French lamp collection. /Conny My Lumiere Noël lamps ....
