    Hi Folks.

Might as well introduce myself, I'm Brian from Scotland. Been interested in lamps for a few years now and originally collected railway lamps etc.

Later in life I have found myself becoming involved (coerced by my wife) into Scouting. I have become known as Prodigy.....The Firestarter.

And so, I find myself here looking at new forms of anything to do with naked flames!

I first acquisition is on it's way from the Bay and I'll hopefully get it sorted up and post some pictures.

I'll use this post as a test run for photos as I'm not best friends with the PC.

This is my house sign, hammered from copper plate and given a nice patina with a concoction of chemicals that you're not supposed to mix together!

Catch up soon with questions when my lamp arrives.

All done with a nail punch and a hammer. Then turn it over, anneal, and flatten down around the letters.

Hours and hours later there you are!

    Many thanks.
