G’day picked up this old 1950-54 X246 and noticed how rough it was around the pump hole. Did they produce them this rough or do you think it’s been repaired? Surely it’s a repair hey? Cheers Shane.
G'day Shane, the collar was put in place from the inside before the baseplate was fitted. If you're going to use heat to tidy-up the repair, make sure you have some means of preventing it from falling into the tank.
