Something for sale somewhere for some money, that someone might like to acquire in some way!

If one were to search for two Tilley lamps, say on a certain website where people post things about themselves, maybe adding their 'FACE', one might find 2 very beautiful gas pressure light producing devices that the current keeper might sell for a small amount of remuneration. These might well be a good fit for someone who collects these things... not that I do of course, I just thought someone else might... also they are a rather long way away from my current abode but they should definitely be 'rescued' in my humble opinion.

I hope I won't get told off for this post.

Yes, I think they went quickly as a mate looked on Facebook as I was posting this thread and couldn't find them either. Basically for £60 you got two nice condition PL53s with the original pointy onion globes and original wire cages. The globes alone would make them worth the price. They were down south in the west country, so way too far for me to pick up. I hope a collector bought them rather than a dealer.
