Question about Coleman Lantern Carry Tin

    I see that this carry case must be made in the USA, because, even though it says it’s for the 242B & 249, it won’t take the Canadian ball nut.

    Those cases are Canadian made. There are different sizes of that case to accommodate smaller models as well as the larger ones.

    To carry a 242 or 249, I remove the ball but and place it in the interior mantle holder slot. Then I stuff a couple packages of mantles down that slot to keep the ball but from falling out in transit.
