    Hi everyone. Slightly off piece but thought i would share my evenings work . A friend lent me a draught shield from his R1 mid 50s Tilley heater so i could copy it so I set to and made one for my matching heater. I have to say im enjoying how friendly and helpful people in this group are. Many thanks

    A beautifully made reproduction, unlike my functional but nowhere near as elegant solution!

    Pretty is nice .... but pretty functional works for me.
    The Butane can is a great idea, the right size and very common.

    I'm gonna hafta have a go at your design ...... I can't quite make out your handle set up though.

    @Paul Burnell
    The handle’s simply formed from the flap of tinplate created when the slot to clear the burner has been cut.
