    Hi all,

An example of a 361L lantern produced by Mewa Leipziger Werk VEB from approximately 1952 to 1962 in Leipzig DDR in different varieties.
Special features of this lantern are unused condition with this red fiber needle wheel version produced in a certain period.
Our friend JasonWu presents a Mewa lantern with the red fiber wheel and a cage with a bezel to access the preheater Here:hasag or mewa ?

You can see in an image that over the years and decades the green paint has become very dark.
For my part just a careful cleaning of all the parts (I forgot to do the head and the pump nut)
This lantern was delivered to me from Germany.
I thank Sabine born in 1962 for agreeing to sell it to me and for all the valuable information provided during our discussions.
Namely, since she was little, she has always seen this lantern as a family decoration on a shelf with the small utensils in the cage.
    Thank you for sharing.

    Best regards,
    Titoo.

Very nice presentation and information :thumbup:
It is the beautiful version of the 361L with polished nickel-plated brass parts , which was only available at the beginning of this series.

Amazing condition. I think Sabine's family never left it out in the cold. :)

That's a beautiful lantern. Looks very well-made too. Only wish these are more available in my location.
