Hi! I’m new to this forum
Wanted to show what my Optimus 300 looked like when I got it
After some cleaning with soap and warm water and aceton
Replacing lead washers and Nrv-valve, 250 jet and 250 …
This lamp has no foot-valve in the bottom of the generator
The weel is very hard to operate, som old tread-fix from last owner
I think this lamp are from the 1930 somerhing..?
Have not got tested the burner yet
Optimus 300 is on the left on last picture

    Welcome to CPL @Rune Olsen
The 300 has cleaned up nicely

A hot bath in a weak citric acid solution will help remove the oxidation. 1tb spoon to 1litre of water.
It only needs 5 minutes in the solution then remove and clean with very fine steel wool. Repeat if necessary. Too long in the solution will remove zinc from the brass and turn it pink.
