What do people think of 249 coleman lantern ?

    Hi everyone. Im interested to know what you all think about coleman 249 lantern . I have got my late grandfathers 249 lantern at home so i can repair a leak that according to his diary it has. Its 8 month 45. Thanks

    The 249 is well worth the effort to repair and get going.

    Thanks for opinions guys i will do my best to get it ready to go but for the first time ever im going to leave its battle scars as they all tell part of my grandfathers story .

    My 249 dated 3 45 is a favourite lantern. Reliable, bright and easy to light up. A good little campsite light.
