I repaired 506. Everyone has already posted about 506. Therefore, I will describe the failure condition and how I solved it. Trouble details It lights up without any problems until it starts pressurizing after preheating and reaches a certain level of brightness. However, if the pressure in the tank continues to increase, the mantle fire will go out. Cause of trouble It turns out that up to a certain level of pressure, the fuel is injected vertically from the nipple, but if the pressure is increased beyond that, the fuel is injected diagonally. As a result, fuel was not properly supplied to the J-tube and the light went out. Even replacing the nipple didn't solve the problem, so I was about to give up on repairing it. However, I happened to notice that by adjusting the height of the needle, the air-fuel mixture could be rectified and injected vertically. After that, I used it by adjusting the needle height for a while. Furthermore, when I performed maintenance afterwards, I noticed that the base of the needle was slightly bent, so I straightened it and the problem was resolved.
