100_7931.JPG Hi fellas, I bought this old girl from a paper add along with a Handi first model Swiftlite more than 15 years ago and I just finally got around to giving her a full fettle, After the clean up I purchased the glass from Mappio on the net fitted a new pump valve And then it was time to fire her up, I had an original 1001 mantle that I got in a box of spares From a friend, she really runs well, I think this Lantern is a 1937 model, Nils might be wiser on this cheers guys

The pump and filler locations suggest 1928 to 1932 but I guess Nils and Bo will know better than me. There should be a date code stamped in the base and I would expect that to be S,T,U,V or W. Looks to be a nice example. ::Neil::

Well done Frank. That's what you call a result.

The lamp will be from around 1930 to 1932. Have you checked the date code on the base?

Thanks for the replies fellas, Nils it took a bit of scrubbing to reveal U30, so its a 1930 vintage? this one is definitely a keeper
