    Had a couple of NOS bits arrive from OCP and managed to complete these 3 Canadians.

    156 “Empress”, 157 “Sunshine” and a 157 that someone repainted.

    Nice lamps, @Buckaroo.

    There are only a few of each of these in the Reference Gsllery, so it would be good to see some detail posted there.

    Cheers

    Thanks, I’ll get on to that @Tony Press

    And yes, all 3 have an original finial, one is missing the nut however. I notice Old Coleman Parts now has a dozen or so in stock @Jean J

    @Jean J

    Here are two NOS finials: one brass, one nickel; each slightly different.

    Cheers

    I was following on from your question about “original finials”, @Jean J.

    Cheers

    So, is there a right and a wrong one for a Coleman 138? I was about to order a nickel one from Old Coleman Parts like the one on the right in @Buckaroo’s first pic.

    Do those Coleman lamps often turn up in Australia?

    I think nickel is correct, @Jean J.

    @JEFF JOHNSON

    They aren’t that common, Jeff. When they do appear, they seem to get pounced on.

    Hello Tony, they are scarce in the UK., too, at least that has been my experience, but it may have been different for other collectors. Jeff.

    I’ve had a few over the years but let most of them go apart from the 138 and a BQ bracket lamp. Oh, and a few wee lanterns as well, I do like these. Not so fond of most Coleman table lamps.
