    Hello
I recently bought this stove at a market in Denmark, but I haven´t been able to find much information about it.
    Can anyone help.

Hello, you should post this on CCS., the tab for that website is at the top of the page.

That stove must have some age to it and it's an impressive beast, Jeff.

Jeff is right; you should ask on CCS.

What I know is that this single burner range was called Svea Simplex, and was made by Max Sievert (Svea was just one of several brands under Sievert).
They also had a two burner version of this, called Duplex.
When it got this cast iron stand with the name "Svea" nicely casted into the legs like this, they are pretty early.
Around 1910-20, or so, but perhaps you might get a more precise answer over at CCS.

    Good luck!

Hi Niels Christian, good to see you here. As the others have said, CCS is the right place for this question but there is a good overlap of members from both sites.

What Christer writes is correct. I'll add that the Simplex is seen in a brochure from 1912 but not in a catalogue from 1908. The model must have been introduced between these two years. I would guess closer to 1912. The one you show has the depression around the filler cap which is a variation that came in later. Possibly after Primus introduced it on their stoves (patented 1919).

A nice stove that turns up quite regularly in Denmark, but not often other places.

Thank you all, I had a feeling that it is an old stove, but not that old.
I first found out about CCS after I had added this topic, sorry.
