Believe we had a great show last night all around the UK. Unfortunately I didn’t know in advance so went to bed without looking out. Gutted!
It was quite a night, although the most vivid volours were the early ones around 7:00 pm shown above. None-the-less, it went all night. Around 9:30 - 10:00pm we got 360° Aurora with it closed directly overhead: More colour around 10. Then curtains to the South. Around 4:00am it quietened down. Looking south (Southern Cross in the sky): Cheers Tony
Looks amazing Tony!!!!! i was visiting my Son and Daughter in East Anglia and was fortunate to see some.. very humbling i was struck by how much more clearly they were visible looking at them through my phone ? when I first looked there was a slight glow but it wasn’t until I looked with the camera that I could really see things! the quality of the camera also made a big difference
@Tony Press Since when have the Aurora lights ever been these colors ????? Plus why are they showing going up and down in lines ????? The world is a stage and we are being lied to about this event. Look up HAARP and what they are doing with it.
Amazing..simply awesome! That's something we can't bring about artificially. At least not with our present state of technology.
@Marko57 The colours are much more intense through the camera than the naked eye. It’s the most intense solar storm I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a few in Australia, Canada and Antarctica. Quite an experience when it happens in your back yard. Cheers Tony
