    Hi all,

This is a 1928 parabolic heater CYCLOP, made by the French Lilor company.

Bought in Sweden 11th of July 1928 and the heater is in a very good,

nearly unused condition. An observant viewer notes that this is the 4062 Lilor

parabolic heater and only the Lilor logo has got a new CYCLOP logo badge.

The Lilor 4062 parabolic heater is first seen in the 1923 Lilor catalogue, and is a

gasoline fed heater. The reflector can be angled from vertical to horizontal,

and in horizontal position could be used as a stove. Nice and easy going heater.

    Very nice, @Conny C.

I have a Lilor with a rusted-out base that I must get around to fixing. Is the guard/pot rest made of steel, in three parts welded together?

Tony - The wire guard consist of two steel stripes (1 x 8 mm) twisted in the ends.
The round piece is connected to the stripes with rivets.

Interesting. When I first saw the coil of tubing I thought it was a funny place to put a pre-heat system, but it is actually a device for allowing the tilting of the dish. It is is in great condition and working well - congratulations
