Hi i have this Veritas gas lamp which looks like a oil lamp, these seem to be extremely rare as i can't find any information on them.

I need the domed rubber seal that seals the gas canister, I talked to someone and they said you can't get them and are different to the campingaz ones? Thanks 20240606_185817.jpg

Right: have not seen a canister lamp version.

On the sister site there is some information related to this issue and the canisters.

    Veritas G1599 Butane Gas Cartridges

    It might help a little.

I do have some Veritas LPG wall mounted lamps but they are not canister operated. The globe on them just fits Tilley lamps too.

    Good luck

These appear on UK Ebay from time to time. I think they are not complicated and three pictured on there today are using a Camping Gaz cartridge (piercable type)
I secured this photo showing the seal that you need:

Just an update, I've had to buy a campingaz stove to see if the rubber domed seal would fit or not (like in fireexit's picture) interesting that it is the same size but not as deep so i needed to add a O ring under it and it now seals and works! Although the chimney was not original and with the heat from the gas flame it damaged it so will need to find a replacement maybe a Aladdin heal less may fit but not measured it yet. But so far its the only one i know that is working and i will do an update sometime soon on my YouTube channel - Enginevids

Thanks to the people that replied any more info is welcomed, i would like to see an original brochure/leaflet with this model of lamp in.
