    They are well made, and of borosilicate glass. Expensive, but good service.

    Cheers

    Yes I have seen them as well and wondered how good the clear onion "182 style" globe would be?
    As @Tony Press has stated expensive, when you include delivery on top of that as well.
    Sadly they are out of my price range.

    @Buggerlugs , I bought the Tilley shield globes to replace my original shield globes now in safe storage.

    I contacted him (?) earlier about several for the petromax 883 table lamp. At first prices where ok but he was out of stock and I had to order a lot.
    Looking at prices now, he seems to get greedy and also starts to make fancy texts, which make your globe a fantasy in stead of a reproduction.

    100,00 us dollar for a repro globe is not OK (for me).

    @WimVe

    I bought the last clear one at the old price, and sought to negotiate a bulk order, but he said that the costs of having them made had risen considerably. He's obviously had new ones made, and indeed the price is much higher.

    Best regards

    Tony

    @Tony Press , I know I was part of that process.
    I pointed to the not correct text and he has changed that.

    T805 Globes way off correct shape, although the text looks good.
    However, I do like some of the painted table lamp shades, very nice.
