    My favourite lamp. Rusted and worn, but bright and quiet.

    Indeed sturdy, workhorses.
    I would seal the tank how ever to prevent rust and look for a cheap globe to use and keep this rare unique glass safe for display.

    No nonsense, grey, raw beauty. It reminds me of a Norway mountain landscape from my recent hike there...

    @WimVe usually it has a newer "user" globe, but I had to mount the original for the photoshoot ;)

    When I got the lamp it was coated in a ugly green paint. I took some elbow grease to get rid of it. Not a fan of clear coat, so did a quick coat of gun oil to keep the rust at bay.
