Hi fellas, This is my new addition to the lamp family, I am not to sure about this lamp And I would welcome as much info as I can get and in addition any tips for pulling it down and fettling it as I am a little apprehensive about this lamp because I have not come across one like this in 20 years of collecting, it does look a little complicated and technical Concerning the generator and pricker assembly, it is a twin burner model. I am wondering if maybe Neil or someone has an exploded parts diagram, thanks in advance.
Hi Tony, it is quite a lot different to the one you posted, when i get the mica out i will post more picks, the mica is well frozen in
Nice find. Made by Nagel-Chase and unless I'm mistaken, it's a Wizard Quicklit Model 14 (designed to run on Shellite). Don't worry, they're not quite as complicated as they look.
@outback boy I’ll go through my Wizard pile on Wednesday and see if I’ve got that burner. Cheers Tony
Thanks Henry, i was wondering about the fuel for this, i am hoping someone may have some paperwork, cheers Henry
Yeah Henry and I have fettled a few of these generators. A bit more complex perhaps but with a new packing they generally restore well. Pretty good engineering these NC lamps and most of the gen is steel so pretty robust and easy enough to dismantle. ::Neil::
