Thanks John, The glass is original, however you can buy replica's from Basecamp in the UK, I have purchased a few through them quite reasonably

 

It cleaned up very nicely. Great job.

Is the shade painted or proper enamel?

 

Nils G'day. I used a light industrial green hammer tone enamel paint. They use it on workshop tools such as lathes and drill press. I looks really good and very close to original colour

HI,

Most probably in the 1940 ish to 1945.

The steel tank says it all. They don't stand the test of time unfortunately.

Nice restoration.

The tank is in incredibly good condition, no rust or dents, possibly because the original paint is so good. I can see it lasting for many years to come
