    Hello everyone,

I'm writing an article on the history of the Coleman lantern, and I'd like to request the use of a few images to illustrate the piece, large enough to be published on the web. I'm hoping to find a photo of one of the early large arc lamps, and another of a Quick-Lite lantern. If possible another one or two of the early Instant-Lite models, and one of a lantern modified to project slides. Any and all help would be appreciated! Sadly I tried going through Coleman's own channels and got nowhere. I've been through Terrence Marsh's remarkable image gallery but could find no way to contact him.

    Thanks very much,

    Jonathan Hanson

    Hello Jonathan!

Have you browsed the Coleman gallery here?
If you see a lamp you are interested in, you can just post a private message to the member owning it, and ask for either better pics, or if you are allowed to use the pics he/she already has posted here if they are good enough for your publication.

Thanks for the replies . . . Jörg, I am aware of that book and it's on my list to buy. But I don't think I could reproduce anything from it without copyright infringement.

Carlsson . . . good idea, thank you. I'll do so and see if I can get some help there.
