I'm getting ready to clean up this valve and I'm wondering what to soak it in. Looks like at least some of it is nickel plated. The ball valve is clogged and the ball bearing has a little rust
Soak it in a mild citric acid solution (or diluted vinegar). Keep an eye on it. Take it out before or when you see brass turning pink. Scrub with a toothbrush to get the crud off. Cheers Tony
Well I got the generator out and there is no needle, spring or packing inside it. Makes sense maybe because there is no cleaning lever. Is there supposed to be anything inside there? The tip on the generator is plugged bu so far that's the only thing problem I've found.
