Tilley FL6 Armour Plate Glass

I have been researching Tilley FL6 floodlights and have many questions; this is the first.

Tilley advertised them as having 'Armour plate glass'. I presume this means it is a toughened glass and I understand it can resist thermal stress.

Is this the same glass as that which appears to be trademarked as Armourplate (TM) glass nowadays?
