Coleman Air-O-Lantern from France with the original box and pump.
You can clearly see on the box that the Air-O-Lantern was already called LQ 327.
-The Air-O-Lantern had a painted tank
    -the hood without lettering
-the collar had a different lettering
-no heat shield on the lower plate

This LQ 327 lights today for perhaps the first time in its long life.

I didn't disassemble or paint anything. The inside of the tank is sparkling clean. The micaglob with the teardrop-shaped opening is demaged.

    Excellent!

Great find, especially with the box and the information it supplies. Where did you find it?

    Thank you.

I found them on german eBay.The seller,a wick lamp collector, told me that he bought the Coleman years ago in France as a bycatch .But he has no interest in pressure lamps , so he never took care of the lamp.

    @Reinhard

    Very nice acquisition.
    .
The “LQ 327” was the new designation beginning August/September 1918 along with the new models for 1919. The lanterns continued to be collar stamped “Air O Lantern model QL” like yours for another 4 years with the box like yours inked as “LQ 327”.
The Q99 generator appears to be with a hex nut , the original would have been square nut.
    .
Could we see a more close up image of the fiber valve wheel ?

The hexagon nut on the Q99 generator cannot be loosened. That was the reason why, contrary to my habit,I didn't disassemble the lantern.

@Reinhard , thanks for the images.
Judging by the components: third generation frame baseplate with deeper dish and no half moon cutout for air/fuel filler, no baffle plate, “Close” and arrow only stamped fiber wheel, I feel lines up with 1921.

My dear Reinhard, I would like to congratulate you on this great catch.
I followed the sale until the last minute but being on big deals lately I let it go.
Now I am very very happy that it is in your collection.
At the time there were Coleman distributors in France, the house Liotard, Markt & Co. Ltd 107 rue Parmentier Paris.
    A very good lighting.

    Regards,
    Titoo.

    Thanks to all.

The base plate already has a recess for the pump.
