Hello everyone, Got a Fuerhand 276. Surely not pressurized, but allow me to ask. The burner can't be removed, to change the wick. It is maybe due to painting working as glue. Did anyone face a similar issue and what are possible solutions pls. I am trying to avoid using strong tools not to affect the nice painting. The lantern seems originally yellow but nicely painted blue. Best regards, Migwar
Ah I know this. Try gentle heat, to soften the paint glue. Make sure not to kill the burner by applying force to the wick mechanism. This happens fast because the axle sticks out and seems to be a good "lever". It doesn't look like original painting and it needs a wick.
Thanks, @WimVe The issue is resolved—after applying a little flame, the burner was removed, the wick was changed, and it lit up perfectly.
