My uncle passed away and this was part of his collection of antques. I don't know much about it - happy to hear any comments? It is missing the shade and handle.

Hi Manno, that's a nice example of the Kaye AP2, they are a very nice Lantern and run nice and bright. The enamel top looks in fairly good shape, I can't help you with the shade they are hard to come by but I can help you with the handle if you would like. Just send me a PM, cheers Frank

Nice one mate, yes you are correct it's a Kayen AP2 and as you stated it's just missing the bail and reflector.
Also a new set of seal's and a mantle, and she should fire up straight away, if the vaporiser is in good condition.
As @outback boy also stated, the reflectors are very hard to find.
I would be very careful with that Tilley globe, even though it's cracked.
That's a very early Tilley globe and are hard to come across.
I would replace with an aftermarket globe and put that away, in a safe place.

    Wekcome, @Manno.

That’s a nice example. It should restore very well. I, too, advise you to put the globe in a safe place, and use a new one.

    Cheers

That is a fine example of KP2 same as the one I have hanging here in the kitchen. Mine is my blackout light and indeed a week ago had a powerbox fault and was without power for two nights.

Certainly was handy. TW Sands in Melbourne have globes, parts etc.
