Can anyone help me identify this lantern? Aida? or a Chinese clone?

Can anyone help me identify this lantern?
    Brand and type?

It looks a bit like an Aida I think?
There is a logo on the pre heater knob but I can't make it out.
This is the only picture I have, sorry.
    Thanks!

The logo does look very AIDA-ish if you squint hard enough
But it may be a Sun rather than a Stag, and the lettering underneath the logo may be Anchor.... :-k

It does have that AIDA 1250, Petromax 829 or Anchor 950 vibe about it though.
The preheater "knob" does look a little "cheap" if you know what I mean, so it may be an Anchor 950 or similar, I could be wrong though. The Anchors I have seen are boldly marked on the fount and it doesn't look obvious on this one.

Well worth a chance if you were thinking to buy it and it was cheap enough, I love a good mystery ;)

    Thanks,
It looks indeed more like an Anchor if I look at other pictures on the net.

    I don't think that's an Aida.
The collar/frame appears to resemble those found on some variants of the Anchor, Relum Magnlux and the Sea Anchor.
Although the plastic knobs and parts on the pump, pricker control wheel and preheater might more commonly come in red and with the usual distinguished shapes, those on the older Anchors, for instance might appear entirely different in shape, colour and size and can be brown or black.

I'm not aware of any Aidas having a combination of horizontal ribs and oblong slots on the collar.
