Hi all, While on the hunt for replacement W&B vapourisers I'm going to have a look at the Relum/Anchor 500CP Petromax clone that's lurking in the naughty corner. It' suffering from black mantle syndrome, so am going to attempt to strip it down and fettle accordingly including new seals and so forth. I seem to remember there was a handy step by step guide to disassembly and rebuilding on this forum but can't find it for the life of me, which is vexing. Can someone please point me in the right direction... Best as ever, Chris
If you can't find it easily on the forum, then it might be a good idea to save the attached file with a name which you can easily remember in your archives. It is neither for an Anchor nor a Relum but it should be relevant enough.
That’s the one … thank you so much. As an aside, is there any one particular fault that causes black mantle disease in this model? Ie what should I be looking for specifically? Best, Chris
