I bought this Hasag 351 L from Ukraine in December 2014.The photo in front of the brick wall shows it as it was offered at the time. Now 10 years later,I have restored it a second time and corrected many of the mistakes, I made back then.I also reinstalled the original pump cylinder with pump.
The cardboard handle wheel ,the B for Benzin(petrol)on the jet and the location where the lamp was found indicate that this lamp could once have belonged to the Wehrmacht.
The most important distinguishing feature from the early successor model of the post-war period :
    1. The top of the pressure vessel looks like this one, without the groove around the vaporizer mount.
    2. The pump cylinder has a smaller diameter,a Hasag thread and a pump cap with a hole for locking.
All other components for the early VEB Leipzigerwerke 351 L were taken from remaining stocks of the Hasag 351 L or reproduced. They are really very similar.

    A very nice lamp!
The relatively simple design, the longevity, the efficiency with which a wide variety of fuels can be illuminated and and and.....
    I love these lamps!

And once again, Reinhad, you have done an excellent job.
