Hi guys. I have two porkpie X246 lamps. They are very similar in all regards, ie possibly the same year 1948 or 1949, but I notice the variation in the orange hood top colour with one being a different orange to the other. Is one shade of orange hood top earlier than the other? I've posted a pic so the differences can be seen Any ideas?? Cheers Simon
The yellow and orange hoods turn up on the first 3 versions of the pork pie so I don't believe the colour can be used to date the lanterns.
