Hello everyone, I managed to acquire this Continental 761 in parts from a fellow collector, and after some restoration work, I was able to bring it back to life a few days ago. The tank had to be repainted, and a few missing parts (screws and burner) had to be fabricated. Initially, I wanted to run the lamp with kerosene. However, since it didn’t perform well and there were flame flashbacks behind the flame screen, I started to think that the "B" on the nozzle might not be a coincidence and could indicate that this is the gasoline version of the lamp. After switching the fuel to white gas, the lamp now works perfectly. In the pictures, a 2000 mantle is installed, which is fully illuminated.
