    This Canadian Coleman 249, dated 12/63 was found in South Australia.

    Here it is (RHS) with its close sibling, from the same sale, a 3/63 Canadian 249.

    As testified by others, the kerosene Coleman 249 is a very good lantern.

    Those are good looking lanterns.
    They are good lanterns and I will post my 249 soon which I found late last year.
