In Japan, it gets cold in the winter, so I don't feel like riding a motorcycle. On those days, I use my 551L to have coffee and sweets in the garage. Families keep their homes warmer by using modern heating devices. But I enjoy this!
@JEFF JOHNSON Thank you. I can't do it in the summer because it's too hot, so I'll enjoy it while I can.
@Sellig33 This is a French Yamaha motorcycle called XSR700. Although Yamaha is a Japanese manufacturer, this bike was initially only manufactured at the Yamaha factory in France. My XSR700 also came from France. Do you also ride a motorcycle?
@Camp numao , I didn't know that YAMAHA had a factory in France. Yes I am also a biker, I have an old SUZUKI from 1990, a VR51A 750cc called INTRUDER
@Camp numao In the 1990s there was also a 1400 cc Suzuki Intruder - Wikipedia My 750cc hasn't been driven for 2 years, I have to start it soon after a good service. Gilles
Nice lamp and bike! Here is my 1984 XJ 550 Project. Actually it was finished already when I bought it, but I went through a lot of trouble to buy "Beet" parts in Japan. I will have them painted in the future. They are to rare to be painted by myself in the garage.
@Petrolux You have a nice XJ550. If you painted the Beat parts, it would become a more distinctive XJ550. When I was about 20 years old, I once painted an entire bike with two-component urethane paint. I have bitter memories of spraying too much urethane clear coat and it dripping.
