Dears, This is not a joke, but the only known „solid remains” of the whole Polish stoves and pressure lamps manufacturing company – HELIOLUX. HELIOLUX was located in Poland, Bielsko town, Cieszyńska 22 street. It is mentioned in several old documents dated between 1931-1939. The lamp is marked HELIOLUX No. 19, MADE IN POLOGNIA There is some logo that looks like initials of the factory owner – Paweł Rittel = PR. Some Petromax 200CP size lamp next to it for size comparison. Now that beautiful lamp belongs to me. I would be grateful for any info regarding lamp, factory etc. Maybe someday, someone... There is also link in the stoves forum regarding that factory: HELIOLUX Bielsko @Henry Plews – you may consider to add the HELIOLUX , Bielsko, Cieszyńska 22, Poland to the Pressure Lamps Catalogue. It seems that there were several/dozen pressure lamps producers in Poland before the WWII. Now, we know of approx several/dozen Polish lamp examples in total... all the best, Piotrek
Hi Piotrek, I don't want to disappoint you, but there is more from Polish lamp production. I received the attached pictures from a collector in Thuringia, who received them from a Polish collector. Greetings Jörg
Hi @Jörg Wekenmann I am not disappointed I would love to have any Polish lamp and I know than some still exist. According to fellow collector from Poland he is aware of three LUMEN lamps - one in Canada and two in Poland. He has one of them. I still wait for pics of his LUMEN to post it on the forum. Maybe I will get some more pics/docs from my friend to post it. Most likely @pitu has such a lamp, but I do not have contact with him. Thank you very much Jörg, you guys are so lucky to have all these ironic Made in Germany lamps
