AGM 723 Lamp

    Interesting lamp.

    Is it stamped at all, or have a soldered badge?

    Do you think that’s the original finial?

    No stamping on the lamp, finial looks to be correct.
    One thing that's different from the P72 aside from the fiber valve wheel is that this add mentions a wrench is included. The P72 has a fuel cap that has a valve in it that a pump screws into it to pump air in, the 723 had a hex fuel cap like all later lamps and lanterns.
    I had no idea and another collector more familiar with American Gas appliances sent me the info.

    That’s a really nice looking lamp @Dean D and I especially like the way the top bit with the finial sits above the shade. Gorgeous shade too, pic.3.
