1980 Coleman 220 K

Here is my first Coleman 220 K

Date stamped 12-80 (December 1980)

WICHITA. KANSAS U.S.A

Found in Australia

It was in reasonably good condition with some rust on the cage. A strip down and clean had it up and running.

Great runners, the K models. My 1st lantern was a 8 year old K that has been abused and beaten for over 30 years now.

 

Nice find.

 

It cleaned up well.

They can also be converted to run on paraffin / kerosene and the link below shows a relevant topic, but the lantern was originally a 220 F.
