Dears, This is not my lamp. It has not the regular red color top and has collar with holes like for a preheating torch. But there is no preheating torch... What do you think about authenticity of that lamp and why it looks different than usual Radius 102? all the best, Piotrek

This is an early variation of the 102, but normally not with that globe cage/collar. The collar is for the 105 lantern which has the quick starter. I have seen this once before, so it was most likely something that was done at the factory. Maybe they ran out of the correct collar and used the 105 collar to finish an order. Another one of these mysteries that will probably never be explained.
Thank you @Nils Stephenson I quite regret not buying that first example now, because it was in great condition. Maybe I will hit 105 model or some other unusual Radius sooner or later. all the best, Piotrek
